Dr. Hung earned his Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. His interest in science, healthcare, and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives led him to pursue dentistry at the prestigious University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.

Recognizing that dentistry is constantly evolving, Dr. Hung is committed to lifelong learning and professional growth. Over the years, he has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education, continually expanding his clinical knowledge and refining his skills to incorporate advancements in dental materials, techniques, and digital technology.

His dedication to ongoing education reflects a simple belief: patients deserve thoughtful, high-quality dental care informed by current knowledge and modern practices.

Dr. Hung is also multilingual and speaks English, Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, and Japanese, allowing him to connect with patients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and help them feel more comfortable discussing their dental health.

Beyond Dentistry: Travel, Photography, and Mochi

When he’s not caring for patients or serving in the National Guard, Dr. Hung enjoys exploring the world, discovering new foods, and capturing memorable moments through photography.

An enthusiastic traveler and travel photographer, he finds inspiration everywhere, from the scenic landscapes and charming neighborhoods of the Pacific Northwest to historic landmarks and fascinating cultures around the world. A self-proclaimed foodie, he also loves discovering local restaurants and experiencing the unique flavors that different communities have to offer.

Closer to home, Dr. Hung appreciates life’s quieter moments. On a sunny Pacific Northwest weekend, you might find him relaxing in a hammock at a local park, enjoying the fresh air and taking a well-deserved break from his busy schedule.

And, of course, there’s Mochi, his beloved 15-year-old orange domestic shorthair cat. Their story began in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where they first met during Dr. Hung’s dental school years. Since then, the two have made their way across the country, settled in the Seattle area, and now call Woodinville home.

For Dr. Hung, Woodinville isn’t simply where he practices dentistry. It’s home, and the people he cares for are part of the community he is proud to be part of.
