Before Your Appointment
To save time on the day of your visit, please complete your paperwork in advance through our online forms. Bring your photo ID, dental insurance card, and a list of any medications you take. If you have recent X-rays from a previous dentist, let us know and we can request them.
During Your Comprehensive Exam
Your initial appointment includes a thorough evaluation of your oral health so Dr. Hung can create a dental plan based on your unique needs. Depending on your situation, your visit may include:
- A review of your medical and dental history and any concerns or goals you have
- Low-radiation digital X-rays to detect problems beneath the surface
- A complete exam of your teeth, gums, bite, and jaw
- An oral cancer screening
- Close-up images from our intraoral camera so you can see what we see
- A professional dental cleaning when appropriate
